Summary Ephesians 3

Paul introduced himself as a prisoner of Christ Jesus. Though he feels he is the least deserving of the Grace of God. The mystery of Christ, which was not fully understood in the past, has now been revealed to the apostles and prophets through the Holy Spirit.

The mystery is that the Gentiles are now fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. This was a radical idea at the time, as the Jews and Gentiles had a long history of animosity towards each other.

Through revelation God's mysterious plan was revealed. Equal riches are inherited by those who believes the good news. Using the church to display God's wisdom this was the initial plan carried out through Christ Jesus.

And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, we are bold and confident in the presence of God.

Prayer

"I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God"
