Knowing the will of Olódùmarè has never been a simple formula. Long before organized religion, people understood that divine direction is not shouted, it is felt, recognized, and aligned with. The will of the Source is not hidden; it reveals itself when the inner life is quiet, honest, and prepared. The first doorway is stillness and communion. What Christianity later called prayer was, in its original form, a conversation not begging, not rehearsed words, but honest communication between the human spirit and the Divine Breath (Ẹ̀mí). When a person slows down, speaks truthfully, and listens inwardly, guidance begins to surface. Not as noise, but as clarity. Another doorway is recorded wisdom. What many call scripture is not magic text; it is memory preserved. Stories, teachings, and experiences passed down to guide future generations.
